| George Orwell wrote an intriguing and twisted novel. His predictions of the future are somewhat ridiculous but also true. His riveting imagination leads the reader into a complicated world on the path to a destructive future. The main character, Winston, is caught in this "negative utopia". Everyone surrounding him has been 'brainwashed' by a Party that wants to control the people. He finds a woman who is also rebelling against the Party. Together they try to rebel against the BIG BROTHER. However, in the end, Winston gets caught and discovers that he can trust no one. |
