Entertaining as always by mjeske |
| Gladwell is entertaining as always. So full of common sense but unlikely you've ever put these thoughts together the way he has. |

Interesting data by kanclien |
| Malcolm Gladwell explains the different factors that lead to extreme success. It is not simply IQ, but a combination of opportunities, luck, hard work, and even cultural background. There are many surprises; for example, for athletes, the luck of birthdate is a huge factor. I found this truly fascinating. but yet an easy, comfortable read. It reinforces my belief that hard work is crucial- the 10,000 hour rule! |
