Tuesdays with Morrie by nyackschools |
| In the memoir, Tuesdays with Morrie, college professor Morris Schwartz faces his imminent death head on and in its worst form, ALS but Morrie decides to embrace it and life. This book is told through the point of view of one of Morrie’s former students and author of the book Mitch Albom, as he goes back many years after college to visit his dying Sociology professor.
On the first visit, Mitch describes his weekly visits with Morrie as “The last class of my old professor’s life.” In which the subject is the meaning of life. Mitch would meet with Morrie every Tuesday morning after breakfast for fourteen weeks. Each week Mitch would come to Morrie with a list different of topics pertaining to life and the moral values that the world has lost and ranging from the world and money to forgiveness and emotions. Through the pages of this book as he records his “last thesis" he changes and you will too, this is a life changing book that speaks of the core values of life. |

Tuesday's With Morrie by granttrev |
| I was blown away by this book, the story of friendship, devotion. The inspirational story of University lecturer Morrie Schwartz who suffered from Lou Gehrig's Disease, or what we know as Motor Neuron Disease. His courage and philosophical take on life. This will be one of the best books you will ever read. |
